CEO DATELINE - Health care a hot topic for fly-ins this week

Physical therapists, home care providers, medical students and pediatricians will all be in Washington, D.C., this week to talk about policy and visit Congressional offices. More than a dozen associations are holding fly-ins, including at least seven health care-related groups.
The U.S. Senate is back in session, but the U.S. House is still on its spring recess for another week.
Advocates from the National Association for Home Care & Hospice attending the "March on Washington" will visit Capitol Hill Tuesday. Among the asks: rejecting proposals to include hospice benefits in Medicare Advantage plans.
The American Physical Therapy Association will also be on the Hill Tuesday.
Other health-related groups holding fly-ins or legislative conferences include the American Medical Students Association, American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Health Information Management Association and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
Other associations represented in Washington this week include those for insurance agents, state school boards and background screeners.
